I am a full-time antiques & collectibles dealer livng in Denver, Pennsylvania
As a eight year old boy in 1963, I was given a bag of stamps by an elderly couple that lived near my grandparents. My teen-age neighbor gave me a stack of baseball cards a few weeks later before he left for college. The collecting bug hit and I was off and running. I was always visiting a local stamp shop in Quakertown, PA. Due to college and other interests, my stamps and cards disappeared and my collecting was put on hold.
In 1983, my wife and I had two small boys. We had to find a way to finance their college educations. I noticed that baseball cards were becoming very popular at a local farmers' market. It was at that time that I decided to start selling sportscards at local flea markets. I soon started adding postcards and ephemera to my inventory. In 1997, I discovered eBay and have built a great customer base. I also have a mall booth at the Heritage Antique Center in Adamstown, PA.
